Climate

1.8The southern region of Thailand has a tropical climate with only two seasons: summer (hot and dry) and rainy (mild and wet). These seasons do not run at the same time on both the east and west side of the peninsular. On the east coast (including Nakhon Si Thammarat) the most rain falls between September and December, whilst on the west coast the southwest monsoon brings rain from April through to October.
